After the climax where the gang defeats Mortmain, it takes Clare 104 pages to wrap the story up. It tied in well to The Mortal Instruments, answering many questions about the origins of many things.In other words, it was exactly what I expected.I just had one problem with it.The freaking forever ending.I counted. There was a glorious ending battle where the protagonists defeated the bad guy in a seemingly hopeless situation.

The characters were done well and were consistent with their characterizations in the previous books. I didn’t really have any qualms with the plot.
